Manmeet Singh Bhullar’s 40th Birthday

In honour of Manmeet's 40th Birthday, the Manmeet Singh Bhullar Foundation is offering grants of up to $10,000 to registered Canadian charities based in Calgary, Alberta. In total, we will grant out $40,000. These grants can be used for existing programs and services or for a new project/initiative. Grants will be awarded based on the core values and areas of focus that guided Manmeet and now our Foundation. 

Grant Categories: 

Empower: You are helping people build strength and confidence in themselves and their own ability to shape a future full of promise.

Unite: You are connecting people and communities to bring out the very best in us, knowing that what we share in common is far more powerful than our differences.

Inspire: You are mentoring, educating or encouraging others to find their own seeds of greatness, recognizing that all big ideas start with small steps.

Serve: You are making a difference in the community by encouraging the importance of serving/helping others.

We want your charity to draw inspiration and guidance from the values, words and actions of Manmeet, knowing that he:

• championed the success of young people;

• wanted to give voice and power to issues in our society that others may feel are too sensitive or stigmatized to address;

• recognized the profound responsibility we all have to give back to the community, city, province and country, that gives us so much opportunity.

Our application process allows us to understand your initiative and your desire to help us carry on Manmeet’s legacy. Like him, we want you to be bold, think big, and aim high.

To apply:

• Your organization must be a registered charity or other qualified donee according to Canada Revenue Agency

• Fill out our application form below

• All applications must be received by midnight on April 15, 2020
  

All charitable organizations awarded a grant from the MSB Foundation must:

• Make us aware of events and activities events related to the grant.

Share their grant story with us and the community through social media

We anticipate the announcement of the grant recipients approximately 6 weeks after the application deadline (May 29, 2020) .
